The online process opens on 3 September 2009 for both Upper and Secondary applications. The online process closes on 23 October 2009. We recommend that you apply online.

If parents/carers wish to complete a paper application form they must return it to their local Admissions and Transport team to arrive by the deadline of 23 October 2009.

9 December 2009 If you move house, this is the latest date for you to notify the admissions team of your new address for it to be considered as on-time in the allocation process
9 February 2010 Any applications made after this date will not be offered a school place until week commencing 26 April 2010

2 March 2010 Parents who applied online can view their school offer online
2 March 2010 Continuing interest (CI) lists will be created for a Community/Voluntary Controlled school. Everyone with an unsatisfied higher preference will automatically be placed on the list for that preference
16 March 2010 Please let the school know if you are accepting the place offered by this date. Please contact the admissions team if you do not wish to remain on the continuing list/s you have been added to
Week commencing 22 March 2010 First continuing interest run will take place. If you are successful in your continuing interest application, we will write to you with your revised offer of a school place
22 March 2010 Latest date to send in your appeal form
29 March 2010 The online continuing interest application will open to enable new preferences to be added to the continuing interest lists
23 April 2010 Last date to register online for change of preferences (new applications) to be added to the continuing interest process
Wk 26 April 2010 The second (and final) continuing interest process will run and successful applicants will be notified of results
May - August 2010 Places will be filled from continuing interest lists as and when vacancies occur
May-July 2010 Appeals will be heard during this period
 

 


Candidates will be required to take a verbal reasoning test and a mathematics test, which will be used to assess their academic ability. No minimum score will be required to gain admission, places being offered strictly in descending order of each applicant's standardised test score.
