Parents living within the catchment area need to put AGGS first if that is their first preference.

Parents living outside the catchment area for AGGS and who want AGGS for their daughter will need to put AGGS down first on the preference form. That is, you need to ensure that AGGS is written on the form and has one or first by the name. A parent living in Bolton may be offered AGGS before a parent living in Flixton if the Bolton parent has put AGGS first and the parent in Flixton has put AGGS second.

To help parents with their choice of school AGGS proposes to let parents know if their daughter has qualified for AGGS before the date for completion of the LEA preference form.

Residents in other authorities e. g. Cheshire, Manchester who wish a place at AGGS are advised to make a photocopy of their preference form and to send it to: Schools Admissions, Trafford LEA, 4th Floor, Waterside House, Waterside, Sale, M33 7ZF.
